Yeah they fit with little to no hassle so I enjoy them a lot more than my Work XD9's.

They are both heavy. I want to sell the works and get a nice set of RPF1's sometime.

Aha. I'm so glad I didnt listen to myself and kept the snows on. My car is useless without em.
I was SO close. I even hand washed my car for the first time this year too.

I'm not pulling the winters off until a week or two into April. If for nothing other than the resilience to pot holes in the cold mornings.
At a meet today a guy hit a pot hole on his drive in and it tore a 2+ inch gash into his sidewall. Didn't break the bead somehow, but he wasn't going to make it anywhere, and the worst part was being in an area where nearly everything is closed on Sunday...

I was looking at RPF1's for my Miata but went with Kosei K4R's instead. Lighter by almost 1lb. and cheaper too.

High visibility safety wheels... for the childrens.

I'll have to give them a look. These wheels are noticeably heavier than my stock ones obviously and it's not ideal for going fast.

Looks like tire rack has two choices. Same as mine and another one.

This x 1000. I hit a bad pothole last week and had to repair 2 rims. Luckily they held air, but my front tire actually tore on the sidewall at the seam but held up since it was a run flat. I was just going to say screw it and mount my "summer" setup which has all seasons but 19" vs 17" winter setup. The recent storm basically opened up a whole new set of potholes and reversed any that were patched up recently. Based on how long it took them to repair roads in NYC last year, I won't be running my larger setup until May or June.

Im just outside NYC, so we're in the same general area probably. My favorite part about my winters is that theyre 225/60, same as my all seasons, but definitely can take a bump. I dodge potholes whenever I can, but if I miss a couple, for the most part I can get away with it. Those car killer sink holes however, they scare me. Many at least appear to be deeper than my ground clearance...

I had to drive home from work in the snow once on those (yes, those) wheels and tires on my WRX. It was awful. Zero traction.
Drive safe dude!

I was trying to figure out when to put the summers on as it had been creeping up to the 40s with some 50s.
It's 15 degrees now.
I should know better than to think these things before April.

I keep waiting for one more snow here in MI, but it hasn't happened yet. But, it is MI, so it could snow again in April. You just never know.....

Through shear laziness, I have neither installed my summer tires nor pulled the 323i Baur out of storage. Feeling pretty good about my lethargy, though. The drive home last night around 8:30 through suburban Minneapolis was beautiful and slow on a coating of whale snot. Thankfully, not too many people out.

I can't help my over powering laziness, but it felt like my snow tires were dying when it was 70 out.
